County high school volleyball update

Sept. 4 games

McLouth def. Troy, 25-16, 25-23
JCN def. Troy, 25-19, 24-26, 25-22
JCN def. McLouth, 25-12, 25-7
• JCN swept the triangular in McLouth while McLouth split its matches.

Oskaloosa def. ACCHS, 25-21, 16-25, 25-20
Oskaloosa def. Cair Paravel, 17-25, 25-23, 25-14
• The Bears swept a triangular at Cair Paravel in Topeka to make their record 5-3. Nicole Rockhold had 13 kills against ACCHS while Whitney Artman had 4 kills, 5 aces and 2 blocks and Kristen Brey had 3 kills and a block. Emily Heston had 18 assists in the win, Hailey Kelly had 6 digs and Sam Drinkard had 3 aces. Rockhold also led the team with 17 kills against Cair Paravel. Artman had 9 kills, Brey had 5 kills, Drinkard had 4 kills, Heston had 31 assists and Kelly had 7 digs.

Sept. 6 games

McLouth def. Elwood, 25-17, 25-16
McLouth def. Seabury, 25-9, 25-11
• McLouth swept the triangular in Lawrence.

Bishop Ward def. Perry-Lecompton, 20-25, 25-19, 25-8
Eudora def. Perry-Lecompton, 25-7, 25-16
• Perry-Lecompton was swept at a home triangular.

Holton def. Jefferson West, 25-23, 25-19
Jefferson West def. Royal Valley, 17-25, 25-17, 25-21
• West was able to come back and split a home triangular with a win versus Royal Valley.
