Oskaloosa 56, Horton 50
• The Bears took a 1-point lead into the fourth quarter and locked down the win to move to 9-10. Sophomore Nicole Rockhold scored 22 points and senior Carol Allen scored 12 for Oskaloosa.
McLouth 46, Valley Falls 40
• McLouth pulled away in the second half to win and improve to 7-12. Valley Falls dropped to 5-15. Freshman Missy Rome scored 16 points while junior Abby Annis added 13 and freshman Kylie Shufflebarger scored 12 for McLouth. Junior Rebekah Bunde scored 16 points to lead Valley Falls.
Holton 56, Jefferson West 32
• Holton took a 37-20 lead into halftime en route to dropping West to a regular-season-ending record of 7-14. Senior Tracy Naumann led West with 8 points.
JCN 50, Jackson Heights 38
• North pulled away in the second half to win and move to 6-13. Sophomore Lisa Weishaar scored 16 points and freshman Sara Navinskey added 15 in the win.
Boys
JCN 56, Jackson Heights 53
• North was down 2 at halftime but came back to lead by 5 entering the fourth quarter before holding off the Cobras to move to 11-7. Senior Wes Weishaar scored 17 points, senior Drew Kraxner added 14, junior Luke Noll scored 12 and senior Daniel Finley scored 10 for the Chargers.
McLouth def. Valley Falls, score n/a
• The Bulldogs improved to 8-10 while Valley Falls fell to 0-19.
Holton 49, Jefferson West 47
• West took a 1-point lead into halftime but let the game slip away in the second half to finish the regular season at 8-12. Junior Tom Shirley scored 22 points and senior Derek Helton added 11 in the loss.
Horton 46, Oskaloosa 40
• Oskaloosa had a 1-point lead going into the fourth quarter but couldn’t hang on as they dropped to 2-17. Sophomore Chase Tenpenny scored 15 points and junior Brock McGinnis scored 10 in the loss for Oskaloosa.
