Three members of the Jefferson West High School girls' golf team qualified for state Tuesday at regional play at Village Greens in Ozawkie.
The Tigers placed fourth as a team with a score of 431 as the teams from Hayden and Rossville qualified with 402 and 424 scores for first and second. West senior Becca Cozadd shot a 104 for seventh place individually while junior Abbey Deiter and senior Kristen Brainard tied for ninth at 108 with Deiter winning a playoff for sole possession of ninth. Karly Kennedy, Kyane Stortzum and Tana Kern also competed for West.
The state tournament is Monday at the new Cottonwood Hills course in Hutchinson.
